Amy & I met in college in Southern California . We had both joined the newly formed College Water Polo Team and due to our height and size, we were paired up together - it has been that way ever since! Shortly after becoming friends, Amy up and moved to Seattle looking for a new adventure, and somehow convinced me to help her move her stuff up in a U-haul that summer. That began a yearly tradition of fun and crazy road trips together that so far have included such places as Costa Rica , Panama , and Colorado (both our home state). Soon, her love of Seattle won me over and I too joined her in the Northwest experience by moving up just a year later.
Anywho - We have had so many adventures together and have always been able to rely on each other for a good laugh, or at least a shoulder to cry on. Through all the years, and all of our adventures, the store is our biggest yet. For too long we had wanted to open a small store. A store that would best describe who we are as friends, family, women, a mother, and a daughter. Since our original concept, our idea of what matters most to us has changed, and the store's identity has been adjusted to match. We both truly believe that life is sweet. We are ever so thankful in the traveling that we have done, our wonderful friends that we have met along the way, and our beautiful families and energetic dogs that have made our hearts full and who have helped shape us into the women that we have become.
